The Challenge
"Our main challenge was to deliver precision CNC parts while ensuring the color anodizing matched the customer's requirement by 90% or more, creating a protective and visually consistent oxide layer for medical applications."
Key Requirements
- Precision CNC: Air-tight dimension control for multi-face assembly.
- Color Consistency: Anodizing must match the specified RAL or Pantone code with 90%+ accuracy.
- Surface Finish: Sanded smooth with sandpaper to prepare for optimal color absorption and premium look.
Our Execution
We implemented a strict quality control loop for manufacturing and surface finishing.
Advanced Machining
Combines 3 and 4 axis CNC machining, EDM, and laser marking to achieve the demand of air tight sealing and ensure proper multi-face assembly.
Color Matching Process
We naturally use RAL or Pantone color codes. We produce a sample coupon first, adjust the dye formulation, and only once it passes the colorimeter test, apply the same parameters for the ready parts.
Final Verification
Every piece is inspected again by colorimeter devices, comparing actual parts against the master sample and color code to ensure all are completely correct and matched.

Color anodized CNC case evidence
Color anodizing cases should prove both machining quality and finish handling. The buyer needs to see finish comparison, surface protection, inspection notes, and packing before shipment.
Compare raw machining, natural anodizing, black anodizing, and cosmetic surface requirements before approving batch production.
Send aluminum grade, target color, gloss expectation, masked areas, threaded features, cosmetic faces, quantity, and tolerance notes.
Check coating consistency, scratch risk, edge protection, critical dimensions after finishing, and packaging method before shipment.
Anodizing color can vary by alloy, surface prep, geometry, and batch, so reference samples and acceptance standards should be agreed early.
How DFocus uses this page
This page is part of the quote-preparation path. It helps a buyer move from a broad prototype idea to a practical manufacturing brief with process choice, material notes, tolerance expectations, surface finish requirements, inspection needs, packaging notes, and delivery assumptions.
What makes the RFQ stronger
A stronger RFQ explains what the part must prove, which dimensions matter, whether appearance or function is more important, how many pieces are needed, what is flexible, and what evidence the buyer expects before shipment.
