- Parts in 3-5 Days
SLS + MJF. PA12, PA11, glass-filled. 3-5 day turnaround.

Nylon Printing Technologies
SLS (Selective Laser Sintering)
A laser sinters powdered nylon layer by layer. Supports complex geometries without support structures. Industry standard for functional prototypes.
- Layer thickness: 0.1mm
- Accuracy: ±0.3mm
- Complex geometry capable
MJF (Multi Jet Fusion)
HP's technology uses fusing and detailing agents for faster speeds and better surface finish. Cost-effective for medium batches.
- 10x faster than SLS
- Better surface finish
- Cost-effective at 50+ parts
Nylon Material Options
PA12 (Nylon 12)
The most popular SLS/MJF material. Excellent balance of strength, flexibility, and chemical resistance.
- Tensile Strength: 50 MPa
- Heat Deflection: 175°C
- Best general-purpose choice
PA11 (Bio-Based)
Derived from castor oil. More ductile and impact-resistant than PA12. Sustainable manufacturing option.
- Higher elongation at break
- Better impact resistance
- Bio-based, sustainable
PA12-GF (Glass-Filled)
PA12 reinforced with 30-40% glass fibers. Significantly higher stiffness and heat resistance for demanding applications.
- 2x higher stiffness
- Heat Deflection: 180°C
- Reduced warping

Design Tips for 나일론 3D 프린팅
Wall Thickness
Minimum 0.8mm for structural integrity. 1.5mm+ recommended for functional parts.
No Supports Needed
SLS/MJF uses powder as support. Design freely without support considerations.
Escape Holes
Include holes for trapped powder removal in hollow sections (minimum 3mm diameter).
나일론 3D 프린팅 FAQ
Is nylon 3D printing stronger than FDM PLA?
Yes, significantly. SLS nylon parts are 3-5x stronger than FDM PLA parts and have no layer delamination issues. Nylon is the go-to choice for functional prototypes.
Can nylon 3D printed parts be painted or dyed?
Yes! Nylon SLS/MJF parts can be dyed black or custom colors. They can also be painted, vapor smoothed, or media blasted for different finishes.
What is the maximum part size?
Our SLS machines can print parts up to 340 x 340 x 600mm. MJF machines support up to 380 x 284 x 380mm. Larger parts can be printed in sections.
